Tassilo Meindl received his degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from the Technical University of Munich in 2003, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Intellectual Property from the Turin University and the WIPO Worldwide Academy in 2004, and a Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Turin Technical University in 2007. He is the author or co- author of several publications in the field of data fusion and intelligent sensor devices.

His experience includes periods of residence with leading US firms specializing in intellectual property law and covers litigation, prosecution and client counseling. His main areas of expertise are electronics, electronic devices, integrated circuits, microprocessors, networking and internet-related technologies, telecommunications, data processing and software-related inventions.

Admitted to practice as Patent and Trademark Attorney before the Italian Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office as well as the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), registered for representation before the Unified Patent Court as a European Patent Litigator, and currently a member of the OCC (Online Communications Committee), Mr. Meindl is fluent in German and English.
